Readin'

I love that Sky is learning to read/spell. Except for the fact that every two seconds she is asking me, "how do you spell...?" It's great though when she attempts to spell words on her own. For instance today on her drawing board she had written, "DIR DIRE" I asked her what it spelled and of course, Dear Diary ("cause that is what Stephanie says on Lazy Town"). Another favorite was how she spelled Puppy, her version is PUB... (you might have to think hard about this one. But the way she says it is Pu-Bee so it makes sense that's how she would try and spell it.) I love it!!!!

Walkin'

Brookeys latest likes. She likes to get into the cupboards and get out the sippy cups. She'll watch them roll across the kitchen floor. She still loves to watch Super Why. She likes listening to kid songs. Her favorite songs are Wheels on the Bus and If You're Happy and You Know It. She knows the motions. Eating Cheetos. She's psycho if she sees me eating them and will scream until I give her one. She LOVES Mac and Cheese! LOVES, LOVES, LOVES it. I can't believe how much she'll eat in one sitting. I think she likes anything with a cheese flavor. She loves her Grandpa and gives him the biggest hugs. She loves watching their dog Zeus run around. She tries to chase after him and isn't quite sure what to do when she catches up to him. She is such a fun, easygoing kid. I can't believe she's almost a year old. I love watching her grow and wish she'd stay this age forever.
